Mousai s Brand New South Tower
We´re overjoyed to share with members that construction of Hotel
Mousai's second tower, the newest addition to the Mousai family, is well underway with the official Grand Opening slated for December, 2021.
Hotel Mousai´s second tower is adjacent to the existing Hotel building, located within the Garza Blanca Preserve complex. We will differentiate the two towers by individually naming them. The original tower will be called ¨North¨ and the second tower will be called ¨South¨.
The South tower is set amidst the lush coastal rainforest and swimmable white sand shores and boasts 68 spacious suites and 4 lavish penthouses each with sleek modern design in luxurious surroundings with exceptional facilities. TAFER´s stunning accommodation options in the south of Puerto Vallarta leave members spoiled for choice.
## The Lobby
From the moment guests walk into the lobby with its high ceilings and striking black and white chess theme with black marble and red accents, they will be dazzled by the wow factor, which is only a hint of the rest of the glamour that awaits them throughout the resort. From the Motor Lobby, guests can step out onto an incredible lookout point, 6 meters long, made entirely of glass overlooking the lush foliage.
Like the original Mousai, the second tower will be nothing less than spectacular. It has a lot to live up to given the expectations of the Mousai brand, and the designers have worked hard to create something extra special. The two towers will be set only a few meters apart and connected by an impressive bridge.
## The Lobby Bar
Next to the Lobby, the Lounge Bar will be a space where guests can enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine serenaded by live music from a Cuban Quartet.
## The Suites
The 16-story South tower will feature 68 lavishly designed suites with stunning views of Banderas Bay. The room configuration will consist of 36 Mousai Suites with King beds, 12 Mousai Suites with two queen size beds, and 20 Mousai Corner Suites with king size beds.
One of the characteristics that differentiates the South tower from the North tower is that there will be 8 Mousai suites with king beds that connect with Mousai suites with two queen beds, which will be perfect for families with older children and larger groups traveling together.
Guests will feel right at home throughout their stay in masterfully designed spaces with light and bright colors, chic furnishings and décor pieces. The luxurious beds will guarantee you a good night´s sleep with our signature TAFER mattresses and linens. In addition, each suite has its own private terrace with a jacuzzi, hammock, and breathtaking views over Banderas Bay.
## The Penthouses
The four Penthouse Suites will measure around 1,500 square feet including the terrace. Each Penthouse will be a work of art in its own right with an elegant design, earth-toned color scheme, and avant-garde decor pieces. The Penthouses and will boast a living room, bar, steam shower, and spacious private terrace with a jacuzzi and hammock. Each Penthouse will also offer connecting rooms to a Mousai Suite with two queen beds to accommodate families and friends.
## Gourmet Restaurants
Continuing to break the mold of resort all-inclusive dining, the South tower promises unique and unforgettable culinary experiences with two fine dining restaurants and a Rooftop restaurant and bar.
### DAO - Chinese Restaurant
DAO is a new gourmet Chinese cuisine concept that will be the centerpiece of the Mousai complex with a location that is as cutting edge as the cuisine itself. DAO is located high up on the bridge that connects the two towers offering stunning views of the lush vegetation that surrounds the property.
The restaurant has a modern design with curved and continuous lines that distinguish it from the others and will accommodate 142 diners.
### NOI – Italian Restaurant
NOI is an Italian restaurant located adjacent to the lobby and has a capacity of 139 for breakfast and dinner.
NOI´s breakfast buffet, exclusively for Mousai guests, will be open daily from 7:00 am – 12:00 pm.
For dinner, the restaurant will serve culinary delights such as delicious fresh pastas and pizzas prepared in a fabulous show-kitchen, where guests will have a front-row seat to the chefs preparing their exquisite Italian fare. Dinner will be available for both Mousai and Garza Blanca guests.
## The Rooftop
The Rooftop bar and lounge will be an energetic space that will be able to accommodate up to 126 guests for regular sunset cocktail parties. The Rooftop at the original Mousai is already outstanding, and the new Rooftop at the South tower aims to top it.
The new ultra-chic Rooftop will include a 46-meter-long infinity pool with a sun shelf with in-pool loungers as well as lounge chairs and umbrellas around the perimeter of the pool, two Jacuzzi hot tubs, a dining area, and, of course, stunning 360-degree views of Banderas Bay.
## The Gym
The fully-equipped gym will feature the very latest in fitness technology with state-of-the-art equipment as well as a space for yoga. You will be inspired more than ever to keep up with your fitness regime while you contemplate the incredible ocean views or entrance yourself in the surrounding jungle landscape.
