Soft Opening on December 15th

Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun is preparing to celebrate its soft opening for phases 1 & 2 on December 15th, 2020. The first two phases feature 162 contemporary, luxury suites, several heated swimming pools, an adults-only pool with a hammock relaxation area, a Food Truck, a Snack Bar, and beach access with day beds and lounge chairs. Blanca Blue is the Garza Blanca brand’s signature gourmet Mexican restaurant and it will be open for breakfast and dinner. Upon completion of the resort, guests will also have the option to dine at the brand´s two additional signature gourmet restaurants: Hiroshi and Bocados STK.

Guests of Garza Blanca Cancun will also enjoy unlimited access to all the restaurants, bars, amenities, and activities at its sister resort, Villa del Palmar Cancun. The two resorts are connected via a passageway.

The official Grand Opening is slated for October 2021. Once phase 4 is complete, Garza Blanca will bring 452 new luxury suites to the amazing destination of Cancun where members can look forward to the signature sophistication and style that the Garza Blanca brand is known for. First Aid Course

Every year, we train our staff in first aid so that they can be prepared and ready to handle any potential emergency situation that may arise. This year, the training was held on October 12th and 13th. Our staff from areas such as security, reception, food and beverage, maintenance and the kids club all participated. Emergency Medical Technician, Gabriel E. Rodriguez, from LIFE support ambulances was in charge of directing this wonderful course.

He taught staff how to administer CPR, respond to choking and cardiac emergencies, control severe bleeding, and immobilize the injured area in cases of fractures or sprains. All participants in the course received a certificate in Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED.

We hope that these training courses will help to reassure members that our team is prepared to respond to the most common types of emergencies and to help save lives.
